The British government is preparing to ask Moscow to extradite two Russian citizens suspected of carrying out the Salisbury nerve agent attack, a media report said Monday.

The statement denied an earlier report about the request by the Guardian.

Russian Federation has angrily rejected any involvement, plunging diplomatic relations into crisis.

Britain blamed Russian Federation for the poisonings and identified the poison as Novichok, a deadly group of nerve agents developed by the Soviet military in the 1970s and 1980s.

The phone is expected to pack a 2GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, with a 2,050 mAh Li-Po battery. From the back, the iPhone 9 looks a lot like the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus .

The Home Office said that as a matter of long-standing policy and practice, the United Kingdom would neither confirm nor deny an extradition request had been made or received until such time as an arrest has been made in relation to that request.

Any extradition request is likely to be rejected by Russian Federation - and risks inflaming diplomatic tensions between London and Moscow, which are the worst since the Cold War.

In 2007, President Vladimir Putin rejected an extradition request for two Russians suspected of the assassination of the former FSB officer Alexander Litvinenko in London using radioactive polonium.

Recall that Sergei Skripal and his daughter Julia were found unconscious in Salisbury on March 4. One died days afterwards. The diplomatic dispute escalated shortly after the Skipals' poisoning, with Britain and its allies expelling more than a hundred Russian diplomats in protest.

Russian Federation retaliated by expelling an equal number of Western diplomats. Moscow has repeatedly denied any involvement and accused British intelligence agencies of staging the attack to stoke anti-Russian hysteria.

Mother of three, Dawn Sturgess, aged 44, died last month after coming into contact with the perfume bottle containing novichok thought to have been discarded by the Skripals' attackers.

Her partner, Charlie Rowley, was also sickened by the poison in the bottle, but later recovered.
