Raymond Reinke has been arrested in connection with a now-viral video that shows him taunting a bison in Yellowstone National Park.

The man-versus-bison video is the latest example of humans approaching too close for creatures' comfort at one of America's most popular national parks. It was a combination of drawing attention to himself, coordination among the park rangers and a little bit of luck that culminated in his arrest.

"We're thankful to those who reached out", Warthin said. "Our rangers do take this very seriously". On July 28, he was arrested by law enforcement rangers at Grand Teton National Park for an alleged drunk and disorderly conduct incident.

On the night of Thursday, Aug. 2, that request was granted and a warrant was issued for his arrest, according to the release. NPS said that Reinke appeared to be intoxicated and argumentative. It was after this encounter, in which Reinke was given a citation, that officials said they believe the bison confrontation occurred.

A video later surfaced of the incident that had caused the concern. "The bison went after him a couple of times and then carried on with what he was doing before he was bothered". The man is seen in the video berating a bison who's standing in the middle of the road before the bison charges at him, leading him to run out of the way. No!" and "Oh my god! The animal initially walked away from him as he approached.

Yellowstone rangers reportedly received several wildlife harassment reports from concerned visitors and found Reinke later on the evening of July 31, issuing a citation requiring a court appearance.

After the video gained attention online and Yellowstone rangers learned of Reinke's charges in Grand Teton, an assistant US attorney asked that his bond be revoked.

Reinke had told rangers that his plans were to travel to Glacier National Park, so on Thursday night, Glacier National Park rangers began looking for his vehicle.

Superbugs now also becoming resistant to alcohol disinfectants
VRE infections are some of the most hard to treat because the bacteria are resistant to many classes of antibiotic, including the "last resort" drug vancomycin.

It just so happened that Reinke allegedly was one of the people arguing.

He was taken back to Yellowstone and booked into jail.

"Presence in park area when under the influence of alcohol or controlled substance".

He remains jailed, with his next hearing set for 11 a.m. August 8.

Liverpool boss Klopp stresses importance of Torino friendly
Meanwhile, Liverpool have confirmed that Ben Woodburn has joined Championship side Sheffield United on a season-long loan.

The rangers were unaware of the bond conditions from the incident in Grand Teton National Park.

The National Park Service advises visitors to stay at least 100 yards away from bears and wolves, and at least 25 yards away from all other wildlife. If you would like to discuss another topic, look for a relevant article.
