Chiyaan Vikram's son, Dhruv's auto rammed into three autorickshaws early in the morning damaging the vehicles and injuring three persons. Police is trying to ascertain if it's a case of drunk driving.
According to a Mirror Now report, South superstar Vikram's son Dhruv's vehicle crashed into three standing auto rickshaws, injuring one person. The Pondy Bazaar police station was first alerted about the accident and members of the police force rushed to the site.
Dhruv was charged under sections 279 (rash driving or riding on a public way) and 337 (causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others). According to police, the investigation into the matter is underway. Recently, actors like Jai and Arun Vijay names were also involved in the drunken driving cases. "We have ruled it out", says a member of the Adyar traffic investigations wing. The injured person has been identified as Kamesh and is undergoing treatment at Royapettah government hospital.
Dhruv was reportedly in the auto with two more people, one of whom was arguing with the police and refusing to sit in the police vehicle.
