PGA Championship 2018 Tiger Woods still has to complete his second round

Tiger Woods shot a 4-under 66 Saturday to move himself into a tie for sixth at the PGA Championship.
Tied for sixth at 8-under par, Woods has his work cut out for him if he wants to catch leader Brooks Koepka, who sits four shots ahead at 12-under par.
Koepka withstood stifling pressure and sweltering heat to card a four-under 66 good enough for a two-shot victory over Woods, who was chasing his first major title in a decade and came close by returning a 64, his lowest final round in a major.
Six birdies in his first 13 holes offset a solitary bogey and lifted Woods, who started the day 10th, to within a shot of the lead amid increasing excitement.
After resuming, Fowler joined Brooks Koepka with a share of third on eight under, while Woods, McIlroy and Shane Lowry all moved up the standings.
"Oh, God, I didn't even know if I was going to play golf again, so yeah", he said.
Woods, in the eighth month of his comeback from spinal fusion surgery after years of back injuries, began four back.
To say Brady Brown of Robinson, Illinois came prepared with his attire for this PGA Championship would be an understatement.
But as the leaderboard became increasingly congested behind him, with 30 players within five shots of the lead midway through the round, Koepka proved his major quality as he bounced back with three consecutive birdies from the seventh which capped an outward 33. Glenwild Golf Club's Craig Hocknull shot 72-73 and Davis Park Golf Course's Zach Johnson posted 76-69. He did well to advance it, but had to save par from a bunker.
It was a similar story at the Players Championship in May as Woods again shone on Sunday, only to falter over the closing holes.
That meant the 34-year-old American missed out on a record-equalling round of 63 like Koepka and Schwartzel. 2 and 3 and after sending his drive at the ninth hole left into the Midwest multitude, a common theme on his opening loop, he played his second from the mud and mayhem to 10 feet and calmly rolled in the birdie putt. He has been motivated by more serious moments, from being left off the "notable scores" section of TV coverage at tournaments and even last week, when he was not summoned for a TV interview to preview the PGA Championship.
Justin Thomas also had a chance to join Woods as the only back-to-back PGA champions in stroke play, and he was tied for the lead briefly on the front nine when Koepka missed fairways and made two straight bogeys.
Woods, whose earlier charge on the easier front nine raised the massive gallery's excitement to fever pitch, was among a logjam of six trailing by four shots.
I don't think I'd ever played in front of that many people.
