The fourth body was reported discovered just after 12pm this afternoon along I-35 just north of Laredo.

"Laredo is not the sleepy town that we grew up in", Alaniz said.

Webb County District Attorney Isidro Alaniz said a woman he attempted kidnap escaped and alerted authorities.

Ortiz, a 10-year Border Patrol veteran, was arrested early Saturday after the fifth woman escaped and found a state trooper.

"Our community is safe from this killer", Webb County Sheriff Martin Cuellar said in a statement.

Govt to stick to 3.3% fiscal deficit target: Arun Jaitley
The government had in the budget projected direct tax collection of Rs 11.5 lakh crore for 2018-19 fiscal. He also said the government will maintain the 100% capital expenditure for the year without any cut.

He said that authorities believe Ortiz had killed all four women since September 3.

In fact, Ortiz allegedly had a fifth victim, a woman who escaped and helped police track down her assailant, the CBS report said.

The sheriff added that the suspect, who has worked for Border Patrol for a decade, would be charged later on Saturday.

Alaniz said authorities were planning on filing four murder charges and one charge of aggravated kidnapping against Ortiz. None of the women's names have been released, pending notification of family members. Alaniz also said the male victim was believed to be a prostitute.

In a statement, Andrew Meehan, assistant commissioner for public affairs for U.S. Customs and Border Protection, said his agency's Office of Professional Responsibility, the U.S. Border Patrol and the Department of Homeland Security Office of the Inspector General are fully cooperating with all investigators.

OSU's Nick Bosa out vs. TCU with injury
Trailing 14-13 by the middle of the match, the Buckeyes pulled out all of the stops to ensure a win in Arlington's At&T Stadium. Ohio State standout defensive end Nick Bosa left the No. 4 Buckeyes' game against No. 15 TCU with an injury on Saturday night.

Alaniz would not specify how the victims were killed but said the "methods and means" of the slayings were similar.

While it was not agency policy to comment on the details of an ongoing investigation, Meehan said, criminal conduct by CBP employees is not, and will not be, tolerated.

He declined to discuss the evidence or say how the women were killed. Police say all his female victims were prostitutes. According to the Morning Times report, state police located Ortiz at a Laredo gas station, and chased him when he immediately took off running - only to quickly find him inside a pickup truck in a nearby hotel parking lot. Authorities believe he acted alone.

"We consider this man to be a serial killer who was preying on one victim after another", Cuellar said.
