Two people injured in Nimes after auto crashes into crowd

It is reported that two people were injured as a result of the collision of a vehicle into a crowd in Nimes.

According to France Bleu, the auto plowed into revellers who were celebrating feria, an annual local festival, in Nimes at around 1:30 a.m. local time (2330 GMT on Thursday) before being stopped by the anti-attack barriers.

According to witnesses and local officials, the 32-year-old suspect, believed to be a local, sped towards a crowd of about 50 outside the bar in the wee hours of the morning.
