According to police reports that TMZ later reviewed, the reckless fit of rage came after Brown said he returned home from an 11-day trip to discover $80,000 and a handgun were missing from his apartment.

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown runs during the first half of a game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Police reviewed security footage, which showed three women enter the apartment in order to clean it on April 13.

It says that Brown has refused to pay for the damages.

He said there was no damage in the town, but officers had not yet been able to contact villages closer to the epicentre. It earlier warned that waves up to about 30 centimetres were possible within 300 kilometres of the epicentre.

TMZ obtained a copy of a lawsuit on Tuesday that shows Brown is being sued by a man who says the Pittsburgh Steelers star almost killed a 22-month-old child when he began throwing items and furniture off the balcony of his 14th-floor Florida apartment.

Another lawsuit claims Brown almost hit a 22-month-old child and her grandfather with two vases and an ottoman that he threw out on April 24.

Sternberg claims "Mr. Brown was extremely agitated, acting aggressively, and yelling at security personnel when [police] arrived to the scene".

Cops say Brown was not arrested for the incident - but the complex told them they would initiate eviction proceedings to kick him out.

On April 25, Brown called police to report that his black Rolls-Royce was stolen. Then, he closed the door and police left.

Ophir Sternberg named Antonio Brown in a civil lawsuit, claiming that his 22-month-old son was walking near a pool at an upscale Florida apartment complex when 'large objects started to fall from the building many floors above them'.

That lawsuit contends Brown breached the lease agreement by "destroying, damaging defacing the premises, as well as furnishings and appliances" belonging to the plaintiff.

There's been no comment from Brown.
