"It is the future relationship that delivers on the Brexit vote".

Britain's Prime Minister Theresa May takes part in a ceremony marking the 100th anniversary of the end of the World War I at the WWI French-British memorial of Thiepval, northern France, on 9 November 2018.

Britain's besieged Prime Minister, Theresa May, has warned that a leadership change would not make negotiations to leave the European Union any easier, as opponents in her Conservative Party continue to threaten to unseat her over her draft Brexit deal.

Eurosceptic MPs fear the deal would keep Britain shackled to Brussels long after Brexit on March 29, 2019.

"I think it's absolutely vital that we focus on getting the right deal in the future, and making sure that in the areas that matter so much to the British people we can get a good outcome", he said.

With MPs led by Jacob Rees-Mogg openly calling for a vote of no confidence in her leadership, Mrs May warned plotters that they risked opening the door a no-deal scenario or a fresh European Union referendum that cancels Brexit.

At such a critical moment in politics - when the draft Brexit agreement hangs in the balance and the PM's future is being openly questioned - you feel an even greater responsibility than usual to get the questions right.

In either circumstance, her version of Brexit, as set out in the withdrawal agreement and future relationship document, would be in doubt.

A total of 48 letters are needed to trigger a party leadership election that could topple her as prime minister.

More than 20 have publically said they have done so.

"We're not going to be distracted".

Opposition Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn said his party would vote against May's deal when it came to parliament and the government should go back to Brussels for further negotiations.

The Prime Minister is facing a mounting rebellion by Tory MPs, 24 of whom have written to chair of the 1922 Committee with letters of no confidence in May. She then suddenly raised stakes, saying that "the choice before us is clear - this deal or leave with no deal".

"There was a referendum in 2016".

"I know that Gibraltar has no intention of being a back door, but instead a centre of high quality financial services", Mr Barclay said at the time.

Mr Green told the BBC: "If you step back, we are at the absolute crunch point of the most important negotiations this country has had for decades". Dozens of the party's parliamentary members are expected to vote against May's deal.

In his speech to the CBI, Corbyn will set out the key elements of what he will call Labour's "sensible" approach.

May also said that a second referendum is not on the cards.

Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said she wanted talks with other parties this week on forging a united front against the draft agreement.

The tentative deal triggered the resignation of two of May's cabinet secretaries - including Dominic Raab, her Brexit secretary who helped negotiate it - as well as letters from members of parliament in her own Conservative party calling for a vote of no confidence in her leadership.

He described the 585-page divorce deal as "fatally flawed" and said he did not think it would be approved by Parliament, where May's Conservatives don't have a parliamentary majority. "We can not accept those dictated terms", he claimed on a rival TV show.

Getting rid of me risks delaying Brexit, says British PM May
Portsmouth South MP Stephen Morgan said: 'Whether people voted leave or remain - nobody voted for this offer from the Government. At least 21 Conservative MPs have publicly submitted letters of no-confidence in May and demanded that she step aside.
