The information leak seems to be mostly confined to the information of those requesting the canvas bag that was left out of the Fallout 76 Power Armor Edition.

Bethesda's latest video game, Fallout 76, launched last month with its share of uneven reviews and responses (including our own), and chief among players' complaints is that the always-online game is quite buggy. The information in some of these support tickets apparently included customer's names, email addresses, and other personal information. A community manager over on Bethesda's forums posted, "Hi guys, we've resolved this issue", with nothing else to say on the matter. In an attempt to make that right, Bethesda is now going to send folks a proper canvas bag - presumably like the ones originally advertised - as a replacement for the plastic junk. Not only does this snafu shake our faith in Bethesda's ability to keep private information private, but anyone who filed a support ticket and then had half a mind for identity theft could easily have copied the information and filed it away for later use.

Meghan Markle Changed Fashion To Impress Kate Middleton During This 'Intimidating' Event
Meghan Markle displayed her baby bump on Tuesday night as she and her husband attended a Christmas carol service. Meghan is understood to be around five months pregnant with her and Harry's first child.

Other Reddit users added their own allegations of the same issue, with one public screenshot showing multiple, confused replies to the same support-ticket thread. Reports have been cropping up saying things like receipt screenshots, names, addresses, and even credit card details are on full display for some hopefully benevolent players.

Bethesda has confirmed that they will not be providing patch notes following today's downtime. That receipt could potentially include information like a credit card number. "Bethesda takes the privacy of our customers seriously, and we sincerely apologize for this situation", the statement concludes.
