His employers said he was assassinated.

"The death threats against members of the team were reported to the police and adequate security measures were taken".

Agyapong, a member of Ghana's ruling New Patriotic Party, can also be heard in the video offering to pay for anyone who attacks Hussein-Suale.

Police haven't announced any arrests.

Ahmed Hussein-Suale was said to be on his way home when gunmen on a motorbike opened fire on his vehicle in Madina area of Accra, shooting him dead in three live rounds.
