The train accident occurred July 6, 2013 in Quebec, Canada and left 47 people dead, making it the fourth-deadliest rail accident in Canadian history.

"Bird Box", starring Sandra Bullock and set in a post-apocalyptic society where survivors must wear blindfolds, was released on Netflix on December 21 and triggered a viral sensation when fans posted their own blindfolded "Bird Box Challenges" on social media.

If there is anyone who thinks that it is ok because a stock footage company has the rights to it, imagine a fictional show or movie needing video of a random building being demolished and deciding that the World Trade Center on 9/11 is flawless.

China's US trade surplus hit record in 2018 but tariffs bite
However, the data show December exports to USA contracted 3.5 per cent compared with year ago as Trump tariff hikes hit. For the full year, global exports rose 7.1 percent to $2.5 trillion, down from the 7.9 percent rate for 2017.

However, many claim that the use of the real-life footage within the fictional narratives manages to trivialize and sensationalize the tragedy at the same time.

Julie Morin, mayor of Lac-Mégantic, issued a statement to the Canadian publication The Globe and Mail taking issue with the use of the footage in a fictional context.

The production company behind the show, Peacock Alley Entertainment, said in a statement that it acquired footage from stock footage vendor Pond 5 "and weren't aware of its specific source". Morin said she wants Netflix to remove the footage. "We're going to make the efforts to do what we can on our end, to ensure (the footage) is being used as appropriately as possible".

AFC Asian Cup: Son sparks South Korea to win over China
China , Asian Cup finalists in 1984 and 2004, began the competition by edging Kyrgyzstan 2-1 and overpowering the Philippines 3-0. Hwang Ui-jo took the penalty, shooting hard into the lower-left corner just past goalkeeper Yan Junling's outstretched hand.

Clips from the company's collection of stock footage and other media are found in TV and documentary series produced by major news and entertainment companies including Disney, Netflix, the Discovery Channel and the BBC, according to its website.

The real-life accident saw a train with 70+ cars of crude oil break apart, with the oil cars speeding downhill toward the town of Lac-Mégantic.

"I thought: No way". The producers, Peacock Alley Entertainment, apologized and said that the footage will be replaced. A Netflix spokesperson is scheduled to speak with the mayor of Lac-Mégantic about the issue today.

Meghan Markle Reveals When Royal Baby Is Due
